Top 10 Failures Report
- Last UpdatedAug 18, 2025

This report shows the top 10 maintenance actions that have been carried out and hence also the top 10 failures. It should be noted that this report is not the same as the Top 10 Downtime report because the Top 10 Failure report also shows maintenance actions that do not cause downtime, which are not shown in the Top 10 Downtime report.
To print this simulation report, follow the steps below:
-
Open the module
Simulation -
Select a simulation on the left
-
Right click the model on the right
-
In the context menu, select the desired report:

A report similar to the one below will appear after some time:

Top 10 Failures
Top 10 Failures (follow-up page)
Diagram
The frequency with which the top 10 failure occurs in the simulated period can be read from the diagram.
In this example it can be seen that the 'paste inner tire' FBM action after a flat tire as a result of a sharp object occurs approximately forty times.
Report
The following fields are used in the report:
|
FIELD |
DESCRIPTION |
|
Location |
The location indicates where failure occurs. |
|
Part Tag |
Internal number or code can may have been assigned to the Part |
|
Description |
Description of the field (free text) |
|
Strategy |
Type of maintenance used to mitigate the failure |
|
Quantity |
Number of times the failure occurs during the simulation period |
|
Duration |
Duration is total maintenance time, as indicated in the FBM screen, for all FBM actions, so Quantity x Maintenance time per FBM action |
|
Costs |
Total costs for all FBM actions together, so Quantity x Costs per FBM-action. |
|
% of Total |
% of total is the percentage of specific failure of the total number of failures occurring during the simulation period. |
Remark: If an object is selected on a level which is too low, the report function will not be available (greyed out).
