About installing widgets

Note: If you are upgrading to a new version then you already have the dashboards configured and you can skip this step.

By default, no widgets will be installed in Asset Strategy Optimization. The system administrator has the proper rights to install widgets. A standard set can be found in the Dashboard folder of the installation package of Asset Strategy Optimization. On request more custom-made widgets can be purchased. The system administrator needs to place them in a pick-up folder so Asset Strategy Optimization will find them the next time any user starts Asset Strategy Optimization and invokes the Dashboard. The new widgets will be automatically installed in the deployment folder and will become visible to the Dashboard designer, a user role with special rights to set up the Dashboard layout.
