To check whether the import was successful, and the model was completely imported, you could introduce a test object as a last line in the Microsoft Excel file. If you can find this test model in Asset Strategy Optimization, then the complete template was successfully imported. Issues you may find are:

• Duplicate tags.

• Empty fields.

• Wrong format of the Microsoft Excel cells.

• (Hidden) spaces.

• The Microsoft Excel source file must be saved and closed at the time the asset import starts.

  Note: Asset Strategy Optimization cannot perform an asset import when there are duplicate tag values in a system!
