Jump to FMECA tree (horizontal view)

In Asset Strategy Optimization the user can create personalized FlexGrid Views. One type of View is the horizontal View. The horizontal View allows to combine information that exists on various levels in the FMECA tree.

A user may jump directly from a FlexGrid view to the corresponding data in the FMECA tree, by selecting a row and pressing the F9 button.

Since in the horizontal View information can come from different levels in the FMECA tree, it is not always clear where Asset Strategy Optimization should jump to in the FMECA tree. What always is clear is what maintenance action is involved. This is why Asset Strategy Optimization will always jump to the maintenance action in the FMECA tree from within a horizontal View.

To jump from a FlexGrid View to the corresponding element in the FMECA tree, do the following:

1. Select a row the (horizontal) View in the FlexGrid

2. Press the F9 button

3. The FMECA tree will open and the maintenance action corresponding to the information in the View's row will be shown and selected.

   

   Jump from a horizontal view in FlexGrid to the FMECA tree is always to the maintenance action.
