About getting a license key from AVEVA

Tip: To avoid waiting times, before performing this step, first align with customer support to ensure they are ready to immediately supply the license key.

1. Run register.exe to obtain the registration ID required for the license key.

2. Provide the Registration ID via email to AVEVA Strategy Optimization Support. Leave the Product Registration dialog box open until you receive the license key back from Support. Paste the license key you received into the License Key field and press OK.

3. Asset Strategy Optimization now needs to be configured to use the license server. Open a command prompt as an administrator and go to the location where Asset Strategy Optimization is installed. By default, this will be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Asset Strategy Optimization.

4. Run the batch file network.bat in an administrative Command prompt. If successful, this will result in the following screen:
