Failure Cause - Critical (in red)

Mark critical failure cause (excluding delivery time)

Failure causes can be displayed in red text if found critical. With the button in the shortcuts bar the user can switch-on this functionality.

The result might look like the following:

Note: Using this option may have a negative impact on the overall performance of the system. Should the program seem slower than expected, try to switch-off this option. Sometimes, when switching-on this option, the results are not immediately visible. To solve this, close the FMECA system window and reopen it.

Mark critical failure cause including delivery time

An extension to the display option above is to also show critical failure causes that have been found critical based on the delivery time. With this option on, the failure causes meeting this condition will be shown in bold black letters.

To enable this function, choose the option Mark critical failure cause including delivery time in the shortcut menu:

Other marking options: Similar markings for criticality can be set for parts and the combination of failure causes and parts. This would also mark the parts in red if it is critical. Use the options to mark critical part and failure cause.
