Properties of Maintenance - tab Environmental impact

FIELD

DESCRIPTION

Impact category

Categories can be defined using the menu bar: Extra> Options> System options.

The first column of the grid provides the category name, the unit of measurement, and the emission factor defined in System options.

For example: Energy kWh (2)

Where ‘Energy’ is the impact category, ‘kWh’ is the unit of measurement, and '(2)' is the emission factor.

In the second column, enter the category value.

Total CO2e

This field will automatically calculate the total value by multiplying the emission factor with the category value and adding the results of all the categories. This field is a read-only field.

For example, consider a scenario where we have three Environmental Impact categories: Energy, Temp, and GHC Emission.

Energy kWh (2)

4

Temp F (2)

106.5

GHC Emission ppm (6)

1

Total CO2e

227

Then, the Total CO2e is calculated as:

  • Energy: 2 X 4 = 8

  • Temp: 2 X 106.5 = 213

  • GHC Emission: 6 X 1 = 6

Total CO2e = 227 (8+213+6)
