Configuring Federated Identity Provider

  • In the Identity Provider field, depending on your requirement, select one of the provider options None or Microsoft Entra ID.

The following table provides you the information about the provider options:

All configured providers are deleted, and only user accounts configured in AVEVA Identity Manager can be used for authentication.

You can use local Identity Providers such as windows authentication or product-specific security. In this mode, AIM can authenticate Operating System (OS) users.

Microsoft Entra ID

Azure AD is configured, and any other provider is deleted. Obtain the EndPoint, Client Id, and Client Secret and then fill in the fields.

User accounts configured in AVEVA Identity Manager and/or in Azure AD can be used for authentication.
