Change multiple values in one column

You can change multiple values in a column at once. To prepare for this, you may first consider filtering and sorting the grid to gather the group of rows that need adjustment.

Note: This function works on all grid items in the column that are visible in the browser screen. Enlarging the scope by scrolling will cause some of the cells to be omitted in the update. For large updates, please use the desktop FlexGrid views.

To change several values in one (editable) column at once to the same new value

  1. Multi-select the values that need changing by:

    1. Selecting the first value by clicking it;

    2. Then select adjacent values by holding down the left Shift button and clicking the last of the adjacent values;

    3. Or select individual values by holding down the left Ctrl button and clicking each cell with your mouse;

    All selected cells will show up as selected, while the last selected cell will become editable.

  2. Now, change the value in the last selected cell.

  3. Click outside of the cell to activate the change.

    All selected cells will now be changed to the new value.
