You can change the width of each column to optimize the space used up by the grid.
To change the width of a column
-
Move your mouse near the end of a column header until the mouse pointer changes into a splitter icon and a divider line appears.

Now grab the divider line with your mouse by clicking and holding the left mouse button.

Slide to adjust the width.

Release to keep the current width.
