Choose rows or cells to manipulate

The vertical ellipsis button to the left of the column bar can also be used to change to row or cell selection mode. In this mode, a context menu becomes active which you can apply to all or specific rows or even cells to apply an action on. The action can be different for each Grid view.

To enter row or cell selection mode

1. Open the column menu, by clicking the vertical ellipsis button to the left of the column bar.
   The column menu opens.

2. Select the action Switch to Row selection or Switch to Cell selection, dependent on the grid view.

3. The column menu disappears. The grid is no in selection view.

4. In Row selection view, you can select zero or multiple rows using the tick boxes on the left, then apply an action on those rows, using the context menu (right click on a row).
