Object structures that were created in the Library folder can be used as templates, by copying them to the Asset tree. Copying can be done in two ways:
-
Using the keyboard or context menu
-
Using drag and drop with the mouse
To copy an object using keyboard shortcuts or the context menu
-
Open the Library structure (if needed) by clicking the library button.
-
Find a parent object of the structure in the Library.
-
Copy your selection (select the object and press Ctrl-C or right-click the object and select Copy from the context menu).
-
Find and select a desired (valid) location in the Asset tree.
-
Paste your selection (press Ctrl-V or right-click and select Paste from the context menu). No action will occur when Ctrl-V pasting is applied on an invalid level, while the Paste option will be grayed out in the context menu.
-
The copied structure will appear underneath the target location.
To copy an object using drag and drop
