This screen can be reached through the main menu (Stock management > Critical failure causes spare objects).

The overview provides a way to view the criticality for failure causes, that have an associated corrective maintenance action where the maintenance action is set to replace a part or component, and a spare object is linked. For each spare object, the effect is shown of the taking this item in stock, for a critical failure cause. This is shown as a totals count, and additionally separately for each individual business objective.

For each business objective, a total is given for the number of failure causes (affecting this business objective) that are critical when the object is not stocked; after the separator sign "/" the total is given for the same failure causes, in the case the spare object was put on stock.

Double-clicking any of the results, opens up the properties screen of a spare object, where changes can be made instantly. E.g. changing whether an item needs to be stocked, can be done here.
After changes have been made in a spare object, the view of this screen can be refreshed
using the refresh
button.
In this screen, a predefined report is available, through the button "Stock and Criticality report". With the help of this report, an analysis can be performed over the desirability of taking spare objects into stock. If stock costs are set up (these are maintained as part of spare object data), costs of the various stocking strategies are calculated as well.
