Language settings

With the Language Settings module, the administrator can change the language of the Asset Strategy Optimization interface for all users in your organization.

In the Language settings tab page you can choose your Asset Strategy Optimization interface language from the available languages. By changing the language, all menus and message are changed to that specific language. After confirming to change the language, Asset Strategy Optimization will close. When you restart the application, the new language will be used. If the language you chose appear in gray style, then possibly language was not properly installed. In that case, consult AVEVA support.

Note: When Asset Strategy Optimization is started with a language setting that is not available to you, it will use the default language (i.e. English).

Note: Changing the language does not influence the data you entered yourself. Those data will remain in the original language. Similarly, currencies and other units will not automatically be localized on a change of language.

RCM designation

After choosing a preferred user interface language, the administrator has the option configure Asset Strategy Optimization to adhere to the RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) terminology instead of FMECA.
