Spare Objects Management

In the Spare Objects Management window you make the link between the parts/components and the spare parts.

Open the window as follows:

1. Open the FMECA Systems window

2. Select a (sub)system or a part

3. Click "Stock management"

4. Click "Spare objects management"

   

   
   

   Screen Spare parts

The entered spare parts are on the left side of the window. The objects (parts or components) linked to the selected spare part are on the right side of the window.

Filtering spare parts

You can use the spare parts filter to find spare parts that have been entered. After you enter a filter, only those spare parts that meet the criteria will be displayed. The filter works on all the fields that exist in the spare parts report: Name, reference code, supplier.

Perform the following steps to set a filter:

5. Enter filter criteria, such as: "wheel"

6. Click Refresh to the right of the entry field

7. Now only those spare parts will be displayed that contain 'wheel', for example: "rear wheel", "chain", etc. A supplier may also be displayed.

   Note: To remove the filter after a filter action, empty the entry field and then click Refresh again. All entered spare parts are visible again.

Sorting spare parts

Click a column to sort the spare parts in alphabetical order by that column. You can choose to sort by Name, Reference code or Supplier. Click the column a second time to reverse the sort order.
