Configuration variants

AVEVA Asset Strategy Optimization can be configured in several ways. From Asset Strategy Optimization version 9.0 onwards, it comes with a web application which requires the installation of Microsoft IIS. This installation manual describes both the installation steps for the web server and for the desktop application. It is assumed that there is already a Microsoft SQL Server or SQL Server Express running on a database server.
