To add the application pool user to the SQL Server logins (for multi-user installation)

Start SQL Server Management Studio and create a new login in the Security section.

In the Select a page pane choose User Mapping. Select the Asset Strategy Optimization Database in the User mapped to this login pane and check the DB_OWNER in the Database role membership pane.

Click the OK button to close the dialog.

Map the database users to the local users list via the Windows Local Users and Groups. For more information on adding users, refer to Microsoft documentation.
