Run the AVEVA Asset Strategy Optimization Installation Wizard

You can install and configure the AVEVA Asset Strategy Optimization by using the Installation wizard.

To install and configure the AVEVA Asset Strategy Optimization, perform the following steps.

1. Insert the AVEVA Asset Strategy Optimization installation media into the machine on which you want to install the AVEVA Asset Strategy Optimization.

2. Browse to <drive>: \ and double-click Setup.exe.

   The User Account Control dialog appears.

   

3. Select Yes.

   Note: If you do not have .Net Framework 4.8 installed on your system, then a dialog appears asking you to install the Microsoft .Net Framework. Select Yes to install. This will require you to restart the system and after the restart, the installation continues.

   The AVEVA Asset Strategy Optimization splash screen appears, and then the AVEVA Asset Strategy Optimization license agreement page appears

4. If you accept the terms, select I have read and accept the terms of the license agreement(s) and select Agree.

   The installation window appears, displaying the features to be installed.

5. Select the required features and select Next.

   

   If any required software is missing for the components you have selected, it will display on the Prerequisites window.

   Note: For Platform Common Services (PCS), there are few other components also that you need to install on your system. For more information about the components, see the topic Install the Platform Common Services components.

   

6. Select Install Prerequisites, if required.

7. Once the installation is complete, select Next.

   The Ready to Install dialog appears, displaying the list of components you selected in Step 5.

   

8. Select Install.

   The installation proceeds and once the installation is completed, a message appears asking you to configure the product.

   

9. Select Configure to launch the Configurator application.
