Monitor changes to assays

Changes you make to an assay as you work it up are stored in the Database file along with the assay data and crude description. By default, all changes made to an assay are recorded and shown on the Changes page.

Each change made to an assay can be viewed by other Assay users after they import the Crude Database file. The list of changes cannot edited, with the exception of comments.

To add a comment to a entry in the list, double click the cell under the Comments column in the corresponding row. A text box appears, allowing you to type your comment. You can resize the text box by dragging its borders.

Change tracking. Change tracking is enabled by default each time you create a new document. If you do not want changes to be tracked, clear the Enable Change Tracking check box at the bottom of the Changes page. Change tracking must be turned off for every new Document individually.
