CrudeSync service status

You can view the current status of your CrudeSync service by clicking Service Status in the CrudeSync group of the Enterprise ribbon tab.
The CrudeSync Status dialog provides details on the current state of each data share known to CrudeSync. Information provided for each data share includes:

Add, Edit and Delete: Ticks appear in these columns if you have permission to add crudes to, edit crudes in or delete crudes from the data share. If you do not have permission to make these type of changes to a data share, then entries in these columns are blank.

Name: The name of the data share.

Description: A brief description of the data share.

Applied: The number of CrudeSync updates that have been applied to the data share.

Last Modified: The date the data share was last modified.
You can refresh the display of these fields by clicking the Refresh button. To close the dialog, click Close.
CrudeSync Errors
Occasionally, CrudeSync operations may not be successful. An unsuccessful CrudeSync operation will always return a failure code, possibly together with an error message. The failure code exists primarily for diagnostic purposes and, if necessary, should be communicated to your AVEVA products administrator. You can get diagnostic information about the nature and type of error from the error message. Possible error messages that can be encountered include:

Access denied |
The CrudeSync operation failed owing to a data synchronisation error. This error can be caused by a failure to connect with the CrudeSync server or by a failure to retrieve updates. |

The CrudeSync operation failed to send or retrieve an update from the data share. |

You do not have write permissions for any data shares |
The CrudeSync operation failed because you do not have permission to write to any data shares. |
Check your server access permissions. If required, ask your local administrator to change your access permissions to grant you access rights to all relevant data shares. |

The share which this crude is associated with is non-editable. This oil is not in an editable CrudeSync database. |
