Save a layout template

In Assay, you can create your own custom grid templates for use in subsequent operations. To create a grid template, configure the measurement grid with any combination of property and stream headers, active cell check boxes, comments and measurement values. Click the downward arrow below the Save button in the Document group of the Home ribbon tab and choose Save as Template from the menu. Tick or clear the Strip Measurement Data check box to retain measurement data in the grid or to remove measurement data from the grid respectively. Press Save to save the grid template.

By default, grid templates are saved in .cdb format. Any .cdb file can be saved as a grid template by importing it into Assay and then saving it using the Save Layout Template option.
