Create a flowsheet

Assay models real world distillation using flowsheets. Before you can use flowsheets to model distillation, you must enter or calculate the parameters using distillation data obtained during a test run or laboratory analysis. (Results from modelling real separations, where fractions of crude overlap, can be used to produce more accurate output for downstream applications.)

In the flowsheet each product stream is defined by a cut point marking the end of the stream, as well as two fractionation indices describing how much of the stream is carried into the other products obtained during distillation.
