Export IR files

You may want to export an IR spectrum to file, for example because you received an AssayUpdate document with an embedded spectrum, but don't have the original spectrum file.

To export a spectrum to file, click the Export button and choose a file name in the Save As dialog window, then click Save.

Export the spectrum graph

In addition to the spectrum file, you can export an image of the spectrum graph. To do so, right click anywhere on the graph and choose Copy from the context menu, or press Ctrl + C. A bitmap image of the graph is copied to the Clipboard. You can then paste the image into an image processing application such as Microsoft Paint.

Note that the graph image is copied at the current zoom level. That is, only the portion of spectrum you can see is included in the image. See Zoom in Inspect IR files.
