Copy, rename and delete a filter

To copy a filter, select the filter to be copied from the Filter drop down list. Press the copy filter button Icon copy. Shows two pages on the Filters toolbar. Enter a name for the new filter in the Enter name for Filter dialog. Click OK to copy the filter or Cancel to cancel.

To rename a filter, select the filter to be renamed from the Filter drop down list. Press the rename filter button Icon rename. Showing bold letter R and a forward slash on the Filters toolbar. Enter a new name for the filter in the Enter name for Filter dialog. Click OK to rename the filter or Cancel to cancel.

Note that you can only rename user-defined filters; default filters cannot be renamed.

To delete a filter, select the filter to be deleted from the Filter drop down list. Press the delete filter button Icon delete filter button. Shows two rightt pointing arrows pointing at a red letter "i" and a black "X" on the Filters toolbar. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to delete the filter. Answer Yes to delete the filter, or No to cancel the operation.

Note: You can only delete user-defined filters. Default filters cannot be deleted.
