When one or more targets are not achievable

It may happen that some or all of the property targets you have defined cannot be achieved. In this case, the optimiser will choose the solution achieving the highest number of targets.

If there are multiple solutions achieving the same number of targets, the optimiser will choose the one that maximises or minimises the cut yield, depending on the Yield Target setting.

If none of the property targets can be achieved, the optimiser simply minimises or maximises the cut yield, depending on the Yield Target setting.

These rules do not apply on constraints on cut boundaries, which are described in Constraints on cut boundaries.
