Assay Reports can produce recut property values for multiple assays in a single report. The content of an assay report is defined using an Assay Report Template, which defines the reference information included in the report, along with the streams and properties which will be included. Streams in an assay report can be defined using perfect cuts and can also employ flowsheet based recutting. An assay report is capable of containing both perfect cut and flowsheet based streams.

Assay Report Templates can use flowsheet cuts, along with perfect cuts, to product recut property values

To use flowsheets in an Assay Report you must create an Assay Report Template using the required flowsheet:

  1. Create an Assay Report template

    Assay > Manage Templates

Click the Assay button in the Reports group of the Reporting ribbon tab, and select Manage Templates from the drop-down menu.

Click the Add button to create a new template. Enter a name for the template, a title and choose any relevant information fields. Click Next to move to the next stage of the wizard.

  2. Select a flowsheet and add cuts

In the Template Wizard select the name of the template used to define the report's streams

When configuring the Assay Report template you must select the name of the flowsheet you wish to import cuts from using the Allow Products From The Following Flowsheet menu. The flowsheet must have been previously configured in the Flowsheet Manager. Use the menu to select the flowsheet which includes the cuts you wish to include in your Assay Report. It is only possible to include cuts from a single flowsheet in a report.

After selecting a flowsheet to add cuts to the Assay Report Template double click in the Type column of the lower cut list. A menu allows you to choose from the list of streams in the flowsheet.

To add all the streams contained in the flowsheet right-click on the list of cuts and select Add All Cuts From Flowsheet from the context menu.
