There are a number of warning levels available, which are present to help you to assess whether the values you have entered into the cells are sensible. These are the levels of warnings available:

Warning

Example

Appearance

Value nonsensical for the given property/stream combination. These limits can be viewed and edited using the Property Manager. See Enter Value Ranges in Add a new property.

Whole crude Nickel of –1200 ppm.

Measurement grid showing invalid value for Nickel.

Value outside the warning range. These warning ranges are set up using the Property Manager. See Enter Value Ranges in Add a new property.

Whole crude Pour Point of 123° C (possible, but outside the warning range).

Measurement grid showing value outside of the warning range

A stream has been set up with invalid start and end points.

A stream set up with IBP higher than FBP.

Measurement grid shwoing invalid values (in this case, IBP higher than FBP)

A cell should not normally be filled with a value, since it is not a normal measurement. This is controlled by the valid ranges set up using the Property Manager. See Enter Value Ranges in Add a new property.

The nickel content of a distillate stream.

Warning thiis field should not normally contain a value.

The reconstructed value is far from the entered value. The tolerances which determine the shading are set up when configuring the precision of test methods using the Property Manager. See Specify Test Methods in Add a new property.

Whole crude Nickel reconstructed value of 11.1 ppm against an entered value of 20.0 ppm.

Warning the reconstructed value is far away from the entered value

The reconstructed value is inconsistent with the entered value.

Measurement Grid. With the Shading option, shows how well the entered values match against predicted or fitted values.

The generated values are out of date. The measured values have been modified since the last generation was performed.

Warning the measured values have been changed since the last generation operation was performed
