Unified Supply Chain Assay

Yield (Unnormalised Volume) (YLD_VEX)

Volume yield (YLD,V) includes volume expansion in USC Plan, but not in Assay. To enable direct comparisons between Assay and Plan, use Yield (Unnormalised Volume).

When used in USC Assay, Yield (Unnormalised Volume) returns volume yields calculated using Equation 2 (see Volume yield in AVEVA Unified Supply Chain Plan). For example, product yields are expressed relative to the crude feed, and the total product yield will usually exceed 100%. For example:

The unnormalized volume yields of products are expressed relative to the crude feed, and the total product yield will usually exceed 100%.

You can use this property anywhere cuts are calculated in USC Assay, including:

  • Cut and Flowsheet Cut fields in the database view

  • Planning template outputs

  • Cutting in the Assay SDK

This property is not supported in the following contexts:

  • Measurements in assay generation: Any measurements of unnormalised volume yield are ignored.

  • USC Plan: Use the existing Yield (vol) property instead. In Plan, Yield (vol) is equivalent to Yield (Unnormalised Volume) in Assay.
