To edit an existing set, select it in the Assay Set Manager, and use the right hand side to change the assays associated to the set. Here you can also add or change tags for individual assays, which are used in planning and scheduling output.

Manage the assays in your set using the icons under the Crudes list:
-
- Opens the Select Crudes dialog to add new assays to your set. See Select crudes -
- Removes the selected assay(s) from your set
-
- Opens Update Assays (below), which shows the available updated assays for any assays in your set.
Replacing assays. To replace an assay with another one, double click the assay in the Crudes list. The Select Assays dialog window opens, allowing you to choose another assay.
Update Assays
Click the
icon under the Crudes list to open the Update Assays dialog. This shows any available updates to crude assays included in your set. To
update the set with newer assays, select the appropriate check boxes.

Assays are earmarked for updating according to the following rules:
-
If the assay in the set is not recommended, and a recommended assay for the traded crude is found.
-
If a more recent assay for the traded crude is found, and both assays have the same recommendation status.
Warning:
When editing a shared assay set, your CrudeSync updates could become out of date before you have had an opportunity to save your changes. In this case, you will be prompted to do a CrudeSync update before saving your changes. However, if updates are available for the same Assay Set you are editing, these will overwrite your local changes.
