Volume yield in AVEVA Unified Supply Chain Plan

In Plan, volume yields are calculated to include the effect of volume expansion. In most cases, the total volume yield of products in a flowsheet (with no losses) will be slightly greater than 100%.

The following formula is used, where density is calculated as described in the Introduction above:

In Plan, volume yields are calculated to include the effect of volume expansion. In most cases, the total volume yield of products in a flowsheet (without losses) will slightly exceed 100%.

Because the density calculation includes special treatment for wide cuts (including whole-crude) where the weight yield exceeds 70%, the same treatment also applies indirectly to volume yields in Plan.
