ProductSynthesis

Assay provides the following facilities for generating products:

• ProductSynthesis for synthesising a product from limited measurement data.

• Recut Crude for recutting a product from an existing Database crude. See Recut crudes.

  

Just as AssaySynthesis allows the generation of a crude description on the basis of limited measurement data, ProductSynthesis allows you to generate complete property profiles and cut information for a product (a product description ) on the basis of limited measurement data.

It is not possible to use this document type to take a database crude and directly produce a product description. This tool is analogous to the other generation tools; it generates the product description statistically consistent with the input data.

To access the ProductSynthesis functionality:

• Click the button at the bottom of the Document Navigator and choose ProductSynthesis from the menu.

• Click the New button in the Document group of the Home ribbon tab and choose ProductSynthesis from the menu.

Once a ProductSynthesis document is createD, follow the steps in Use ProductSynthesis.
