To rename an existing flowsheet, select it in the list of available flowsheets and
click the Rename button
. Enter the new name and click OK. Note the new name for the flowsheet must be different to the names of the other
flowsheets in the Flowsheet Manager.
If you rename a flowsheet, then any other tools in the product which use the flowsheet will be disconnected from the flowsheet. For example, if you have configured Flowsheet Cut columns in the database, if you rename the flowsheet then the Database column is disconnected from the flowsheet and the column is removed from the database. If you have created a PIMS template using a flowsheet, when the flowsheet is renamed the PIMS template is disconnected from the template. This results in the cuts in the PIMS template becoming perfect cuts with cut points equal to the ECP values from the flowsheet. See Flowsheet cut field.
