The Planning Template Manager lists your planning tool report templates, which can be used to produce planning tool reports. These reports can then be imported into your planning tool to be used in your optimisation process. You can add new planning tool report templates and edit existing templates using the Planning Template Manager.

To access the Planning Template Manager, click the Planning button in the Reports group of the Integration ribbon tab and select Manage Templates from the menu.

Integration Ribbon > Reports Group > Planningk button, selecte Manager Templates

The template manager includes three columns which indicate the status of each template. A tick () in the System column indicates the template is system-wide and shared by all users. System templates cannot be edited. To change the options of a system template you must make a copy of the template, which can then be edited. A tick in the Valid column shows that the template has no errors. If there is no tick in the Valid column, the template must be edited to correct the errors.

A tick in the PIMS Integrated column shows that the template is used to manage assays inside a local copy of PIMS. If a template is integrated with PIMS, it cannot be deleted. To remove the template it must be unmanaged (from within PIMS) so that the Remove button is enabled.
