Configure your units of measurement

The product is distributed with a large set of standard units corresponding to all normal measurement units for property value measurement, including a wide range of viscosity units, temperature units and density units. The complete list of standard units can be found in the Appendix. See Units.

However, the products is entirely configurable to provide the units you prefer to use. Using the unit manager, you can:

• Add a new unit category

• Add a new unit to an existing unit category

• Check a unit conversion formula

A unit category is the identifier for a physically measurable quantity. For example, temperature is a unit category, and Fahrenheit, Celsius and Kelvin would all be units within this category.
