Crude selection

To select a crude in the database, click on the row corresponding to the crude in the database. The row for the crude will be highlighted to indicate that it is selected, and any previously selected crudes will be automatically deselected.
For more complex selection tasks, standard Microsoft® Windows® operating system selection behaviour applies, as described in the following table.

Select a single crude |
Click on the crude in the Database. This also deselects all crudes currently selected. |

Select a range of crudes |
Click on the first crude in the range, and while pressing Shift, click on the last crude in the range. |

Select a chosen set of crudes |
Click on the first crude in the range, and while pressing Ctrl, click on the other crudes in your chosen set. |

Deselect an already selected crude |
While pressing Ctrl, click on the crude you wish to deselect. |

To select all crudes in the Database view |
Press Ctrl + A or choose Select All from the Edit menu. |

Deselect all currently selected crudes |
Choose Clear Selection from the Edit menu. |
Selecting all crudes in the database view while the graph is displayed can be a lengthy operation, because of the need to graph all selected crudes on the Graph.
For this reason, when selecting all in a database view containing a large number of crudes, you are given the opportunity to either hide the graph before making the selection, cancelling the operation, or proceeding with the selection operation regardless.
