Model to profile based conversion

Assay offers you the facility for converting the model based representation of a given crude in the database to a profile based representation. You typically use this feature to modify property curves to required shapes and to match required values. In the Database, select a particular crude. If you right-click and select Convert to Profiles from the context menu, the model based representation of the crude is converted to a profile based representation. This is indicated by the addition of the profile based representation of the crude to the database. Since the new profile is a user profile, it is shown in blue.

It is not possible to perform the inverse conversion (that is, from a profile based representation of a crude to a corresponding model based representation).
