Copy and paste database information

Information displayed in the database can be copied to the system clipboard and pasted into other applications such as Microsoft® Excel®. The currently selected assays and the columns of information displayed for them will be copied. To copy the database information either:

• Select the required assays and press Copy in the Clipboard group of the Home ribbon tab.

• Select the required assays and press Ctrl + C.

You can then paste the measurement data into a range of external applications, including Microsoft® Word®, Microsoft® Excel® and Microsoft® Notepad®. When pasted into external applications, the values you see displayed in the columns of the database view for the selected crudes are pasted as tab-separated text.

You can also paste a list of crudes into the Blending page of a Blend or BlendAnalysis document to quickly set up a list of blend components. See Blend and BlendAnalysis.
