Instant recutting

To activate the instant recutting behaviour, enter a start and end value for a cut into the lower part of the Cross Hairs dialog. The corresponding property cut value will be shown. Alternatively, click and drag on the Graph to select a range. The start and end values, together with the cut value will be shown graphically.

To activate the instant recutting behaviour, make sure the correct crude is selected by checking the Graph legend.

Enter a value for both the start and the end boiling points (or cumulative yield points) of the fraction for which you wish to evaluate the property value. The graph will show two vertical lines delineating the region of the fraction. The start and end points, and the property value for the fraction will be shown on the graph and in the dialog box.

Alternatively, click and drag on the graph between two values on the X axis. The endpoints of your selection will define the start and end points for your fraction.

Both the start and end lines drawn on the graph may be selected and dragged to a new position. When you move the cursor to either line, the double-arrowed cursor will appear, allowing you to drag the line to a new position. Values both on the Graph and in the dialog box will be instantly updated to reflect the new fraction.

Normally when dragged in the graph, the lines jump to the next graph interval. If you want the lines to move more smoothly, press the Shift key while dragging with the mouse.
