First choose a source PIMS input file, in Microsoft® Excel® spreadsheet software format (.xls), either by entering the filename or by browsing for it. To browse for a file, click
the Browse button
next to the PIMS Assay Table field. The wizard then loads the file. Click the Details>> button for a summary of the reading process. To hide the summary, click the Details<< button again.
Once you have chosen a file, you may click View File to open the file in launch Microsoft Excel, to allow for easy comparison of the crudes being imported with their underlying measurements.
After loading the file, select the correct worksheet from the workbook using the Sheet box. The wizard determines which crudes are present in the selected sheet, and these may be selected or deselected in the crude list on this page.
By default, all the crudes in the sheet are selected to be imported. You can prevent crudes from being imported by clearing their active check boxes in the Tag column. Once you have selected the crudes you want to import, click the Next button.
Tip: If you wish to select or deselect many crudes at the same time from this list, it is possible to select multiple rows. Changes will be applied to all the cells in the selection.
