Distillation correlations

Distillation unit fitting in the product calculates effective cut points and fractionation indices for each cut using distillation data for the product streams. This distillation data may be measured using any common method such as D86, D1160 or Simdis. The product converts the distillation data to true boiling point (TBP) before fitting the data. See Fit Flowsheets. The conversion is performed using standard ASTM correlations described in:
