Modify any incorrect properties

PIMS Import Wizard dialog. Displays properties in the PIMS data and allows you to change the database value mapped by each file property including units and min and max ranges.

The wizard identifies the properties present in the PIMS data. The Tag column allows you to deselect any properties that have been incorrectly identified. The final pair of Property and Unit columns allows you to modify the properties that Assay has inferred from the PIMS data. The Property column allows properties to be changed using a Property control and the Unit column allows you to change the measurement unit of each property.

The Name column displays the name of the property. You can select from possible alternative names for the property by double clicking in a property name cell and selecting a name from the list. Note that property names are linked to the corresponding property and unit entries in the Property and Unit columns; thus selecting a different name may possibly alter the contents of the Property and Unit columns as well, unless these have been previously manually edited.

The BP Range column gives a graphical display of each property's boiling point range by displaying overall maximum and minimum temperature values for the property superimposed on a scale that indicates the range IBP to FBP. Hovering over one of these cells will display a tooltip with a textual description of this range. The Min Value and Max Value columns show the minimum and maximum values the property measurement may take, if applicable to the property.

Tip: If you wish to select or deselect many properties at the same time from this list, it is possible to select multiple rows. Changes will be applied to all the cells in the selection.

If the properties you require are not present in the current Property Control lists, it is possible at this stage to open the Property Manager, Correlation Manager and Unit Manager to define the new properties by clicking the Icon Propert Manager. Shows green lab flask with magnifying glass, Icon Correlation Manager. Shows formula "Fx" in a script font and Icon Unit Manager. Shows a graph Y-axis buttons respectively. See Properties and correlations and Configure your units of measurement.
