The standard format for presenting assay data within BP is as a pair of summary pages, consisting of the measurements for whole crude and residues, followed by tables of data containing, amongst other things, a detailed breakdown of light end measurements.
Selecting bp format (Assay Input Data) or bp format ( Assay Output data) will present data in the same format as for the summary (distillate and residue) parts of the standard bp assay report, and may be saved or printed as you wish.
The difference between these two report types is:

Assay Input Data |
Presents the true measured data for this crude. Many spaces in the report will be left empty. |

Assay Output Data |
Presents the values for this crude as recut from the Assay Crude Description. Values will generally not be left blank, except where the measurement would make no sense |
Note: This report format is only available for one crude at a time.
This option will not be available if multiple crudes are selected in the Database.
