To configure a valid licence, you need to complete the following fields with the licence details obtained from your AVEVA administrator.
|
Field |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Licensee |
The chosen name for the licensing organisation. |
|
Expiry Date |
The date after which Assay will no longer function, unless the licence is renewed. By default, the expiry date is always set to the 15th of January of the following year, unless the current month is December, in which case the expiry date is set to the 15th of January of the year after next. If the expiry date is not set in the future, the date fields will be shaded red. |
|
Licence Key |
A code consisting of twenty letters and numbers, in groups of five separated by dashes, which unlocks the functionality of Assay. Each field of the licence key is automatically validated and will be shaded red if it does not contain five characters, or if it contains an invalid character. |
After the licence details have been correctly entered into the corresponding boxes in the licence dialog, click the Continue button and Assay will start up. If either the Expiry Date or Licence Key fields are shaded red, the Continue button is disabled.
Once a licence for Assay has been correctly configured, you will not be prompted again about licensing issues until renewal becomes imminent.
