Replace a location

You can replace one location with another location of the same type. For example it is possible to change all references to one area to a reference to a different area. To replace a location click the button of the Edit Reference Data dialog. It is only possible to replace a location with another location of the same type. For example you may replace an area with another area, but you may not replace an area with a country. Select the location to replace with using the drop-down box (only locations of the same type are shown) and choose

• Keep Original Location Changes references to this location but leaves the location as an option for future use.

• Hide Original Location Changes references to this location and prevents this location being used by any user in the future.

• Remove Original Location Changes references to this location and removes the location from the data share for all users.
