Assay reports contain cut properties in rows and crudes in columns. The specific information fields, cuts and properties in a report are defined in a template. See Manage assay report templates.

You apply the template to a range of crudes in the database to generate the report itself. The templates are managed in the Assay Report Template Manager, while the reports are created and edited using the Assay Report Template Wizard. See Create custom report templates.
