Manage assay report templates

To access the Assay Report Template Manager, do either of the following

  • Choose Manage Templates from the Assay Icon Assay. Shows a blue book with text "Assay" button in the Reports group of the Reporting ribbon tab.

  • Right-click an assay and select Manage Templates from the Assay Report Templates option of the View Report context menu.

The template manager shows a list of currently configured templates. A standard assay report template is shipped with your version of Assay.

You can copy the selected template, or any default template packaged with the product, by clicking the Copy button and choosing the appropriate option.

Note: You must choose a unique name for the new template.

Clicking on the Copy > button shows a dropdown list to choose whether to copy the selected template or a sample template

You can also export the selected template to a .ssf file, or import a template from a file, by clicking the corresponding buttons.
