Copy special

Cells in the grid can sometimes have more than one value displayed in them. For example, after performing a BlendAnalysis, the measurement grid displays both measured and generated values. It is sometimes useful to be able to paste all the values shown for a selected range of cells into an external application such as Microsoft Excel, not just the measured values. To achieve this, use the Copy Special option. When values copied using the Copy Special option are pasted into the external application, the data will include all values for each given cell, rather than just the measured values.

Note that, when used between measurement grids, Copy Special simply exhibits the same functionality as Copy.

Tip: Copy Special copies all the selected cells, including any included blank cells, except for blank cells at the beginning or end of the selection. Those blank padding cells are not included in the data stored in the clipboard.
