Planning tool report templates from flowsheets

If you have previously defined a system in a flowsheet in Assay you can use this flowsheet to define the streams in a planning template. Using the planning tool report template editor allows you to manage the complexity of creating and editing planning tool report templates in the product. The editor allows you to configure a new planning tool report template, or modify existing templates. You configure the template by moving between the tabs included in the editor. Each tab allows you to configure a different part of the template so the product can produce a planning tool report report matching your requirements.

If you wish to use a predefined flowsheet to provide information about your system type select Use flowsheet system at the first stage of the Planning Tool Report Template Wizard. Select the flowsheet you wish to use from the drop-down list of available flowsheets. When you have chosen your flowsheet click Finish to start the flowsheet designer. See Create a new planning tool report template.

There are several tabs for a flowsheet system. Each tab lets you configure a different part of the template:

• Flowsheet tab

• Light ends

• Cuts

• Swing cuts

• Targets

• Properties

• Output

• Layout

The tabs are normally completed in the order shown, but it is possible to complete the Template Editor in any sequence. You cannot save the final template until all the necessary sections have been completed.
