Residue graph axis options

The X axis menu shows several options for how the boiling range of the residue is represented on the graph. A residue's final cut point is always FBP. Options include:

Initial Boiling Point - the start cut point of the residue fraction. A start cut point of -161°C is equivalent to the residue being whole crude, and so the property value at this point would be the whole crude value. A cut with an initial boiling point of 350°C would have the same property as the atmospheric residue.

Residue Yield - the yield of residue compared to the whole crude yield. A residue with yield 100% would correspond to the residue having a yield on whole crude of 100% i.e. this would be the same as the whole crude value. A residue with yield 35% would have the same property as the atmospheric residue.

Yield (Cumulative) - the cumulative yield of the material which has been removed as distillate. A crude with cumulative yield of 0% has had no material removed as distillate, therefore the crude has not been separated at all the cut would be the same as the whole crude value. If the yield of atmospheric residue (starting at 350°C) on whole crude was 35%, then the value of the residue graph at 65% (100 - 35) would show the property value for the atmospheric residue as 65% of the crude has been removed as distillate.
Cumulative yield of material removed as distillate and residue yield are the inverse of each other, that is a cumulative yield of distillate removed of 65% is the same as a residue yield of 35%.
