New features and enhancements

The following new features and enhancements were added:

  • You are now able to select a list of properties for generation. This applies to both Generate and Generate Model Independent.

  • In the Generate > Preferences dialog, the old Module Options tab is now called Document Options.

  • The Enable additional model-independent generation option has been removed.

  • A new tab called Generate > Preferences > Generation Options has been added. This tab includes a mode setting for property regeneration. The mode values are:

    • All properties: When selected, this mode provides the same behaviour as the existing model-independent generation functionality.

    • Selected properties: When selected, this mode allows you can regenerate only specific model-independent properties. Select this mode and then add the required properties to the list control on the Generation Options tab.

    • Off: This mode disables model-independent generation. This is equivalent to unselecting the Module Options > Enable additional model-independent generation setting in earlier releases.

  • Resolve mathematical differences caused by different runtime libraries:
Due to differences in versions of Microsoft Windows and runtime libraries, there was a possibility that some mathematical operations in the Assay Engine could produce slightly different results for different users. Assay Engine has been updated to avoid these situations so all users get identical results.

  • Remove managed Swing Cut accuracy in the UI:
To export a Swing Cut accuracy report to Excel, a new button has been added to the Planning Template manager.

  • The Volume Expansion property (VEX) has been updated and a new Volume Expanded Yield property (YLD_VEX) has been added. See Volume expansion in crude fractionation for details.

  • AVEVA Unified Supply Chain Assay has been upgraded to Microsoft .NET 10.
